Passing of Col Terence Murphy of Int Div
* Derek Bock of Army Intelligence advises with regret of the passing of Terence on 06/11/2013 in Simon’s Town.
* The following day the Cape Argus reported on the incident and described Terence “… as a retired 79 year old military man with a long history in the armed forces. From decades in the British Royal Marines, as a pilot in the Rhodesian Air Force and subsequently in the Special Forces of the SADF, who owned a self-catering accommodation in Simon’s Town. Police suspect Murphy shot himself in the parking lot of a popular Seaforth Restaurant”.
End Terence was a direct entry pilot to the Rhodesian Air Force
