Doing a bit of a family history and the attached photograph is of my late father who is standing on the right of the photo.

I know he arrived in Rhodesia in 1946/7 and I am trying to find out whether this is indeed a shot of his arrival.
In other words can anyone identify the aircraft or indeed the airline.
